Contacts with only phone numbers disappear

Hi, I imported a bunch of contacts to a new S5 from my iphone by syncing them to a yahoo account, then syncing the yahoo account (designated as my Samsung account) to the S5

I've found that on contacts that have just a phone number, I can open them once, then when I close them they disappear.

I checked on the yahoo account and they're still there.

After looking at other threads, I checked and made sure gestures were turned off.

Any suggestions?
