continous or recurring email notification

I have gmail as my email client.When i receive a new email it notices only once.I need a continious notification sound.It should stop only after i make it so.If this isnt possible it should notify repeatedly with short intervals till i read new email.Thanks.

Welcome to Android Central! Typically, the LED notification light should keep flashing until you clear that notification. Is that not satisfactory for you?

I need sound notifications because it may be too late when i see led indicator.
