I have two mobiles. One with call forwarding to the other.
With the other how can i detect when a call is being forwarded.
In the old phones was easy with a single arrow.

How can I do that with a smartphone ?

Best Regards

Get Google Voice. It has a lot of great features and is fully integrated with your Google powered device. With GV you get a phone number that connects all of your devices together. People can call or text that number and it will go to all of your phones, and even a significant other's phone if it fails on your lines. It also has a voicemail feature that turns VM into readable text and will deliver it to you as a text or via email. You can control individual contacts, for example I have a few contacts that are not important enough to forward to any of my other phones, so when they call the call only goes to one number, if that call isn't picked up then they go to VM. You can also personalize greeting messages for contacts, so when Xyz calls you can have an individual message for them that is different than your normal greeting to the public, and you can do this as many times as you like. As for call forwarding since that is what you where asking about, it offers several features that are customizable. For example all calls are automatically forwarded if not answered unless set to do other actions, so I can have call from Xyz when forwarded are announced, and you are given the option to take the call or send it to VM. If the contact is saved as a contact it will say the name without the caller doing anything or even knowing that their call is being forwarded to another number. It the caller isn't a contact GV will ask them to say their name, and when you receive the forwarded call you hear them saying their name and your options. I know I probably sound like an ad for Google but this is one service I have to say that I love.
