Control Phone w/External Screen

I have a situation where have a Samsung phone with a broken screen. I need to extract the data off of the phone. In order for me to obtain the extraction properly, I need to place the phone into Developer Mode. Not able to do with a broken screen.

Due to the ages of the videos, some of the hardware is no longer available.

I'm wondering if there is a newer/modern version for this situation.
