I spend a lot of time at my PC. Replying to messages using my phone keyboard just isn't an efficient way of doing things, particularly since I touch type.

Are there any apps that let me respond to text messages, whatsapp etc using my PC keyboard or something that shows the Android screen on my PC in a window?

Thanks,

Jon

Moto connect or something is supposed to allow you to answer texts on your computer, but it is only available on motorola devices. I don't know if it would work side loaded because none of their other moto specific apps do.

I use mighty text, i love it. I text all day from work and it just looks like i'm on my computer doing regular work stuff. The only thing that's annoying is when you answer the texts, it doesn't clear the notifications on your phone, so sometimes by 3pm i'll have 80 new texts. But that's really not that big of a deal.

It only works for texts, doesn't mirror the whole phone, but i find that to be sufficient.

There's also Side Sync from Samsung, but that may be kind of heavy for what you are looking for.

Also if you're a Verizon customer there is a Verizon Message app you can download.

I prefer MightyText to these options.

I just installed Mighty Text. Great recommendation, thank you! Would be nice so have something to control the whole phone as previously stated, but at least this gets me some of the way there. I sometimes used AirDroid but that was a bit of a pain.

@John West6, great recommendation. Do you know if that is better than Mobizen, which I have just come across?
