Controlling music?

Is there a way to control music so that if my Turbo is in my pocket, I can speak something like "Ok Google, next track."?

If not, anyone have experience with the new Microsoft Band 2 as far how well it controls music?

I have had mixed success in saying my Moto launch phrase, then saying "listen to" [song title] "by" [artist name]. Sometimes it plays the song stored in internal memory using Google Music, sometimes it opens YouTube and plays the song from there.
