Copy Homescreen Layouts?

I'm going from a Note 4 to a Note 7 and was hoping there's a utility that will copy my homescreen layout (apps and widgets) from one phone to another. Does this exist?

Samsung Smart Switch does this. Just make sure Google Backup is off or will overwrite the nicely transferred home screens.

I just ran "Smart Switch" and it didn't carry over Homescreens. Perhaps it's the "Google Backup" causing problems--not really sure what Google Backup is --could you let me know how disable that?
Thanks.

In Settings, under "Backup and Reset" section. In there you will see a "Backup my Data" and a "Automatic Restore". I believe they are referring to these settings that need to be turned "off" to have Smart Switch restore the HomeScreens properly. I'll let the others confirm however.

I contacted Samsung and they explicitly say Smart Switch does not transfer over layouts. All the online manuals also say this, so I actually think the other posters are just confusing "layout" with app data...

Well my layouts and app transferred over, everything looks the exact same. Only thing that didn't transfer for me was the theme I was using.

Used smart switch with pc. Backed up note 5 and Used restore. Watched the apps load onto the app drawer one at time. When done all apps widgets etc were there just like my note to.

Ok, I'm stuck. I have used smart switch, on a PC or a mac, and in no case did it load the home screen for me. I have 40 samsung galaxy note 3 tablets that I'm trying to load with the same homescreen layout but having no joy on it. What did you do to get the home screen to transfer?

When I transferred everything from my s6 to the note 7 everything including my homescreen and widgets all transferred. But when I got the s7 edge I tried several times to transfer my homescreen from the note 7 and it never worked.

Samsung Cloud backup does the trick! I just had the same thing happen when I upgraded to Nougat with my S7 Active - I couldn't get my layout's back using SideSync or SmartSwitch but when I got all done, Samsung Backup started up and said I had Restore Data waiting? I said O.K. and let it do it's thing because I had just done a backup two days earlier with Marshmallow. Voila' - Nougat desktop (for lack of a better word) looked exactly like I had before the upgrade - same wallpaper, same apps... awesome. May be too late for you now, but keep it in mind!

I concur jimd1050; Samsung Cloud restore worked for me too.
Didn't xfer the background colours of desktop folders, but this is trivial...!

Yeah - you just have to go to "Accounts/Backup" then hit Restore Data for the Samsung Account. It will carry over everything that you need.
