Yep, started just a few days ago. Is it a regression in the app? I thought initially my touch screen was dirty, but the issue persisted. Clearly someone has tweaked the hitbox or timing for the long-press.

how hard can it be for the FB developers to spot and fix it?
(running version 92, which tells me the assertion that build 80 works was made a long time ago, and it is possible to roll back)

I have also just started encountering this, only on Facebook's app. Specifically only within individual posts, not on general timeline scrolling.

Man, that issue has been driving me insane on Facebook. It is a Facebook issue. I saw it on one of the Android Beta threads as something that's not yet been resolved.

As I am scrolling through articles, etc... This is coming up every time I lift my finger off the screen. It just started this evening and I have no idea what I did to prompt it to begin. Any ideas?

Just go to playstore and update the app..I have had the same problem and it just fixed..

Thanks for the heads up about the update. Worked! I honestly thought it was my Note 5 that was getting wonky. Nice to know it is an innocent bystander!

This **** is even happening to me on my iphone. Every time I scroll down google or a site with images on screen if I even graze the image or link immediately the copy prompt will appear, and I can't find any apple support about this issue at all
