Corrupted graphics on widgets

Every so often it seems some of my widgets have a line or two going across them of corrupted pixels.
About 4-6 pixels high of semi-random noise.
If I try to move the widget, the lines travel with it, so whatever is rendering them, is where the issue lies.

I've seen it on virtually all widgets. Micro clock, Folder Organizer's giant 4x3 tray, Docs, and the music widgets.

Could it be one of those is misbehaving? I haven't seen any threads on this. For some reason I want to point my finger at Folder Organizer.

Comment says it's because of the qHD screen. It's not 100% reproducible. Anyone else ever see this?

I have had this problem as well. It seems to be limited to the HTC launcher though as I have not seen it since switching to launcher pro.

I had that on the post it notes widget they just released.

Had it on mine today too. It happened on my facebook for htc sense widget. All you have to do is drag the widget off the screen (delete it) and put it back. If you do that it will go away. Not a big deal...

I also had this on the Post it notes. I thought something happened to my phone at first, but it was only on Post it. I removed the widget and haven't seen it since.

I had this same problem on my Google Music and ESPN Score Center widget yesterday. I deleted and replaced the widgets, removed the last 3 games I installed, did a soft reset. The issue hasn't returned.

This has been happening to me as well. It happens randomly and on different pages and widgets. Today it happened on my home page for the first time.

It is becoming annoying at this point. I thought it was something I installed, but I guess not.

This just happened to me as well with the weather channel widget and mixzing. Deleted both and it hasn't returned.

this happened to only two widgets on mine, both were HTC ones I downloaded from HTC hub and both were on the same page. quick record & word of the day. after i banished word of the day from the home page, i haven't noticed it happening to the quick record button yet.

Though the way the corruption looks like, it reminds me of the video card problems from PCs. it was usually a hardware issue.

Interesting. Because I was thinking about this last night and remember that this started for me AFTER I added the "Today in History" Widget to one of my screens, which came from the HTC Hub. I had been getting the corruption on that screen mostly, but I do also get it on other screen as well. I have a screen dedicated to icons from the "Folder Options" app and se it occasionally there and as mentioned above, saw it on my home screen for the first time yesterday.

The next time it happens, I should remove the "Today in History" widget and see if it comes back.

Its happened to me as well. Hit and miss but so far only on Elixir widgets.

Hey guys, I have a Sensation and a lot of us users of this device are experiencing the same issue. It's a Sense 3 problem, the phone it's fine. Also, when you reboot, all the homescreen icons of apps installed on SD card are turning onto the generic android icon. The easy workaround for this issues is to change the skin of Sense. One funny thing, though: if you reboot and let the icons being replaced with the generic one, you don't get the widgets noise. Once I change the skin (no matter which one I pick) and the icons are back to normal, the widgets start getting crazy. We really need an update of this Sense 3.
