Hi,

I just got the WiFi model at COSTCO. The gel case is in the Motorola box and not two packages or products wrapped or packaged in a bundle.

Not many in the store were aware of the product or that it's not sold by the wireless kiosk so you might have to ask about it. I bought the first of 20 units they had just after store opening. COSTCO seems like the no brainer purchase place if you're a member because the price, package value and return policy top the department and office stores.

Costco I went to had them stocked up near the front of the store so it was easy to find and the guy who got it for me had me open it there to confirm the case was inside.

It looked like I was probably the first one to get it also, but they were still setting up the display so who knows.

They almost didn't let me buy it because the card I was using was my father-in-law's and they said he had to be there. I'm sure they let it slide because it's a $600 sale they'd be throwing away

Thanks for the tip on the case! I didn't see it in there and I thought maybe it was for online orders only. It was hiding underneath the molded insert.

You purchased twenty xooms? Pictures of your twelve thousand plus tax Pile of xooms would be nice.

Count me in on the Costco purchase also. As a hardcore Mac user this is interesting, to say the least. I've been running Honeycomb on a Nook Color for the last month (back to stock rooted as of last night) so I've got some familiarity with HC. But holy cow, running on the Xoom is incredible. The 30 minutes I was able to play with one at BB earlier this month didn't leave me impressed - yeah, I know, duh. The ability to make this thing "mine", as opposed to iOS is huge.

After four hours with the Xoom, I'm blown away. I'm not going to bash the iPad, but I can already tell that it's not going to be my primary tablet going forward. I just need to keep the impulse to tinker and futz around with the Xoom to a minimum so I can actually get some work done.

The evolution of Honeycomb and future Android based tablet OS's is going to be very, very interesting to watch unfold.

+1 Just picked up my XOOM at Costco Burbank. When I asked where they were the guy pointed me to the Verizon Mobile Kiosk. In otherwords he did not know that there was a WiFi only version. I found the display at the end cap right next to the Verizon kiosk.

Plenty of inventory when I called to check.

My Xoom box appeared to be sealed from Costco. Did anyone have music preloaded on their Xoom? Mine had a bunch of music which bugs me because I had to do a full reset to see if that would fix the camera that is not working.

I wonder if somehow this was a return that was put back into stock already.

1. Preloaded Music?
2. Anyone else having problems with the camera?

Anyone familiar with costcos return policy? Say in 2 months I wanna upgrade to a 3G model I can do so. Now does my 90 day period start again when I get the new model?
