Could not recognize music any longer (no ROM Manager!)

I am rooted and have only been installing games. I can view my pics in the gallery just fine. Apparently my N7 simply will not recognize any music. I've tried Winamp, Play Music, and Music Folder Player. It's all blank in Winamp and Play, and Music Folder Player notifies me straight after opening: "Could not find audio files. Please use folder 'Music' or 'Podcasts' on your storage media".

I have tried wiping cache/delvik, cleared data and caches on all those music players, rebooted, deleted the music files and re-copied them from my PC, still no luck.

I don't have ROM Manager as I haven't flashed any ROMs. Only modification I made was rooting it. I tried to look for .nomedia files but couldn't find any.:'(

Someone help! :'(:'(

Some things to try, shots in the dark:
1. Using a file explorer app (e.g. ES File Explorer or Solid Explorer), go to the folder where your music is located (amazingly, this is usually the music folder). Tap any song. A window should pop up offering music player options to play it with. At least you'll feel better because you'll know your N7 can actually play music.
2. Install another music player. There are tons available, and everyone has their favorite. I like n7player and jetAudio Plus. See if these can locate your music files. They can also play a wide range of formats.
3. Check the settings area of your media players. In jetAudio there's a Rebuild Media Library option and in n7player there's a way to specify folders to use and ignore.
4. Unroot your tablet.
5. Contact Google support. Contact Google support. They will be able to help you resolve it. That's what they're there for.

This link lets you either email them or request a call back: http://support.google.com/googleplay/bin/request.py?contact_type=contact_policy&policy=apps

1. Done it, all music players will play the music. They are in mp3 format.
2. Tried n7player, and even specified the Music folder (it has 6 Keane songs in it). No luck, no music detected.
3. Fiddled with the settings on n7player, still can't recognize music.
4. Tried unrooting it using Nexus 7 Toolkit v.3.2.0, it says "cannot stat 'root:\' no such file or directory (wtf?). I hooked my tablet up to my pc and found no root folder.
5. Okay i'm going to email them. (EDIT: Contacting Support - Google Play Help will not show up any devices at all. Must be because I am in Indonesia and I bought my nexus from Australia. Google Play Devices are not available in my country yet. So there can be no help from Google as of this moment)

Help!
