CPU Cooler pop up

Just this month I have started to receive a pop up / overlay called "cpu cooler" to close various apps running on my Xperia z3v ostensibly to reduce processor temp. I cand find it on my phone and can't stop it from popping up. How do I get rid of it once and for all?

Do you have any cleaner or battery/RAM booster app installed? Apps from Cheetah Mobile, DU or even ES File Explorer are known for pushing this kind of popups.

I have nothing like that I'm aware of and I have added no app recently, i.e., shortly before the popup started.
