Running the latest trickdroid on my at&t one with stock kernel and I noticed through ROM toolbox that the CPU min AND max is set at 1.1ghz. So I try changing it and I closed the app and went back with it still at 1.1ghz. Tried "set on boot" and rebooted with the app open and set at 1.7ghz but once the phone restarted, shocker, back at 1.1ghz.

I'm stumped...and I also tried set CPU and antutu CPU master. Nada.

Why are you using a cpu controlling app with the stock kernel? The kernel is already operating the way it's supposed to.

So why is it showing it at 1.1ghz? Shouldn't it at least show the max at 1.7ghz?

I have no idea on that! Try flashing the Rom again, or maybe you set it in the aroma by accident.

I'll try reflashing. I don't remember a setting in aroma to make it do that though. Lol

I was just throwing that out there because some roms have frequency changes in settings.

I would use an application like CPU-Z for that. Don't get annoyed, that could be a limitation by HTC that only gives you, the user, 1.1 GHz, while the rest is automatically used by the system when needed in order for things not to slow down, like while playing a game, for instance. As long as you installed TrickDroid with stock kernel, not played in any crucial cpu-related settings, and your device is working fine, don't worry about it. Believe me, Android knows how to handle its memory and CPU just fine, especially with Sense.

Figured it out...powersaver was the culprit! Haha we were just thinking too hard. It's the simple things that get you.
Thanks guys.
