Hey guys,

Does having crash detection affect battery life? I'm thinking of turning the crash detection on but not sure if it takes a lot of battery or not.

I wasn't aware of crash detection , where was that setting ?

It's in the Personal Safety "app".

I have it turned on, and have never noticed any significant battery drain. I would guess it's only triggered by an event that would cause sudden and massive deceleration.

Safety and emergency settings?

Yeah, if you go to that system menu, you should see a link at the top that says "Open Personal Safety". That will open the Personal Safety system app. I think it's kind of like the Pixel Buds "app", which is really part of the system, but gets treated like an app.

Yeah It's under the safety and emergency settings. You can just do a search in the settings for crash detection and it will come up.
