Cross-platform mobile calling and notification solution

[Android Central Question]

I bought a Samsung Galaxy S8 and I have an Apple Watch and an iPhone 5s just laying around. So I figured that if I could somehow forward my calls to the 5s and in turn forward it to the Apple Watch along with other notifications, I could use my Apple Watch with my S8. But so far I've hit a dead end with finding apps to support this. Is there anything out there that can fit my needs?

How about creating a Google Voice number and installing Hangouts Dialer on the iPhone? https://thedroidguy.com/2018/05/receive-wi-fi-calls-google-hangouts-free-without-sim-card-1063470. I'm not entirely sure this would work -- this assumes that the iPhone would receive calls to your Google Voice number successfully via Hangouts Dialer, and that Hangouts Dialer would then send a notification to the Apple Watch.
