So last night I finally rooted my T-Bolt. I've rooted several devices before and couldn't wait to root this one. I've been without a computer for several months and finally got a new one. I was running the GB leak 2.11 and loved it with the exception of a few bugs and all the bloatware. I rooted using Revolutionary and it was simple. First thing I did was remove the bloat with the method shown by @CoryStreater which was a sinch. My phone was running great last night. I woke up this morning and had the bright idea to get that Sense 3.0 Lockscreen i've been dying to use. So I renamed the htclockscreen.apk to htclockscreen, bak and disabled the stock 2.1 one. Then I downloaded the 3.0 one and moved it into system apps like instructed. Set the permissions and rebooted......

And my phone began do recirculate my boot screen.....It was like a nightmare. So I got frustrated and removed my battery, rebooted into recovery....etc. So then I had the genius idea to format my sd card thinking it may have been a corrupt file or something.....Still nothing. Now I have a sweet repeated Thunderbolt animation and no phone....I'm at a loss.

If anyone knows a fix please let me know. :-X

Well since you formatted your sd card, that means you erased the backup i assume you made. Meaning all you can do is wipe and reload another rom. Go to Storage and select mount usb. Then load a rom on your card. Install and be sure to back up, in case something else happens.

Could I just load the gb RUU and reroot? If so could you tell me how to do that all from hboot and recovery?

Sounds like that may be a workable solution, give it a try because I think it should work for you.

That's what I thought. I'll try it. I'll do anything to get my phone back! I'm lost....lol

Your stuck until you install a new one. Load any ROM you have just to get your phone working. Then worry about the download
