current gen tablets and ICS

I am about to snag up a Sony Tablet S. What are the chances of getting ICS on it? I'm ok if it doesn't get it as the Windows 8 tablets (real computer on a tablet) will be out for holiday 2012. Just curious if it is something to look forward to.

At this point, all we can do is guess until Sony announces it and actually does it.

Some (Japanese) phones have already been announced as shipping WITH ICS, around Spring of next year.

Existing products though is anyone's guess as to whether and when they will get an update. This info will probably start coming out in the weeks/months after tomorrow's announcement, unless some bold manufacturers are 100% confident they can update their current phones or tablets.
