currently beta do we get an ota tommorow with pixel devices

currently on the beta program .do I have to revert back to nougat before I get the new ota for Android 8.0 release or do I get an official release pushed to the device ?

The folks still on 7 will get it before us beta monkeys. It'll probably be a day or two before they get it, and a week or two before we do. It's always been that way.

My Nexus 5x got the ota on the same day nougat was launched last year after running the entire beta. I would wait out reverting even if you don't get it right away as that would wipe the phone

I'm on beta and the update just showed up for me when I checked. Only problem is when I press to download and install it starts then stops quickly saying there is an installation error

As suggested in another thread, I joined the beta program and almost instantly got the update. A little confused on the build number - OPR6.170623.012 - doesn't look like any build number I have seen on the Pixels before.

ETA - a little more research - this appears to be the correct build number for my phone

Mine says 50mb exactly and still having the issue. I have restarted and even done a full power down and restart and still no luck.

I wasn't in the beta. I joined tonight around 10:30 pm Eastern Time & the update appeared within seconds.

I was on stock, no Beta. No update as of this morning. Joined the O Beta club and instantly got my update of ~950MB

One question - why is there still an octopus as the system Easter Egg?

Mine was significantly less than 50Mb for the download and it loaded fine and everything seems to work.
