Custom binary blocked by FRP

[Android Central Question]

Hi, I have a problem with my Samsung J500 Phone.

One of my family members recently lost their phone and asked me if I had an old one that I could give them. I haven't used my J500 for about two years. When I turned it on, it displayed the following message:

Custom binary blocked by FRP. Secure fail: Recovery.

How can I fix this? I know this message sometimes pops up when you have rooted your phone, but I never did. My PC also won't detect my phone at all, though it charges when connected with my USB.

There was another question about this not long ago. I tried to look into it, and the only fixes I found online said to download a fresh copy of the phone's ROM direct from Samsung and re-flash your phone with it. You will loose any data that was on the phone.

Lol SD always gets leftover, if it is snapdragon something not right.
