custom contact notifications

Hi all. I'm new here... switched over to the Note2 from an iPhone4 about a week and a half ago. This is my first Android phone so it's been an adventure trying to learn everything. One question I have is about setting personal notification tones for specific contacts. I use Zedge to download notifications. It gives me the option to then set it as a ringtone, a ringtone for a specific contact, or as a notification tone. However, it does not give me the option to set it as a notification for a specific contact. When I go into my contact list and scroll down to the bottom of the contact, I can change the notification tone to one of the factory installed notifications but the notifications downloaded from Zedge don't show up in that list. Anyone else experience this or know how to fix it? Thanks

When you're in the contact and select ringtone you should get a choice for my files that will let you search your internal memory and the SD card if you have one.
