Custom dock ideas?

Verizon tried to sell me a dock for $60, and that's just way too much for a simple dock. But I am going to use my Xoom at school for note taking, etc, with a bluetooth keyboard and having and some sort of stand would be very nice. Does anyone have any ideas for how to make a custom stand at home?

Make friends with someone who gets an employee discount. That drops the dock to $45.

Well I already have a keyboard. But I don't want to buy a dock, rather, make one myself. I was just curious if anyone else had done such a thing.
