I bricked my phone. I flashed BMS Kernel (see link below)
http://vitha.us/android/i747LS422/BMS_34_d2att_d2tmo_20130519.zip

and now I cant boot up my S3.

I have liquid smooth 4.2.2 on my phone (love it) but now made an error. My phone will boot - and it has a splash screen that says "Samsung Glaxt SIII Booped byBMS" After that I cant do anything. My phone is frozen. I try to boot in recovery mode - but that doesnt work either. Please help.....

Flash a new ROM or get a stock tar from Samsung official site and flash with Odin, just that it wouldn't be rooted. if anything you could try omega 4.2.2, everything seems overly stable to be unless you prefer what ever features your getting with liquid smooth.

I didn't like liquid smooth...most apps weren't compatible with that Rom

He said he can't boot into recovery, so flashing a new ROM isn't an option. Even if he could boot into recovery, he needs to flash a new kernel, not a ROM.

OP, can you boot into download mode (volume DOWN, home, power)? If so, then I think installing the stock image through Odin is your best option, I think. Be 100% certain you're installing the correct image for your phone / carrier. Installing the wrong image will brick your phone completely.

If you can't boot into recovery or download, then I think your only option is to send it away to a JTAG service to load the OEM image.
