Can't wait to test out betaMe too.
This is true but I do like to customize after some time , I wouldn't mind Nova being a default launcher on Android , I've tested lots of launchers in the past Nova for me is hands down the best , light ,fast, straight to the point easy launcher.Been on stock launchers for few years now, Samsung, Pixel, OnePlus they all do the job for me and not need custom launchers.
I'm sure they will take some features from iOS 18 and I'm fine with that they all take features from each other. They have to beat Apple IOS 18.
Instead of creating a new post I'll put this in the same post. I've read that nova launcher may be going away, pretty much the original developer is the only one running it, the company that bought it pretty much is walking away from it, removed all the team that was working on it.
I'm not sure how it's now, but if I installed Google companion with Nova launcher it used to mess up (turn off) the Google screen to the left of home screen on stock launcher. That was a pain and was a big turn off using Nova to me as a secondary launcher and after some time just stopped installing it.This is true but I do like to customize after some time , I wouldn't mind Nova being a default launcher on Android , I've tested lots of launchers in the past Nova for me is hands down the best , light ,fast, straight to the point easy launcher.
No issues using it but when I went back to the stock launcher its google feed would stop so had to reboot the device.I'm not sure how it's now, but if I installed Google companion with Nova launcher it used to mess up (turn off) the Google screen to the left of home screen on stock launcher. Yeah do you need to reboot every time or just once?No issues using it but when I went back to the stock launcher its google feed would stop so had to reboot the device.
Yeah when switching between launchers the stock doesn't work , another possible solution is Force stop the stock launcher instead of rebooting, yes most like going to have stock google feed not work if keep switching so try what I suggested above.Yeah do you need to reboot every time or just once?
Basically, what I'm getting is, can you use Google companion with Nova without having it not working on the stock launcher?
Let me try myself also now
