Custom MP3 ringtone not available in ringtone folder

I put an MP3 in the ringtone folder using a file manager, twice. However, when I go to settings>sound>phone ringtone it's not there. But as you can see in the screenshot it is. Any advice how to use this ringtone?

Welcome to the forums. Have you already tried restarting the phone? This will force the media scan to read the new files.

Hi. Yes I have restarted it many times and it plays fine in Google music. This worked fine as my ringtone on my Motorola Droid Turbo 2.

You will half to cut and paste the ringtones to a different folder
