Custom notification sounds for different apps

Hey,
I'm trying to set up custom notification sounds for different apps on my Samsung Galaxy S20+. Like I'm getting so pissed of that every app has the same sound. I've tried NotifiCon. But when the screen is locked over a period of time the custom sound wont play.
Is there an better app for this?

In the phone's Settings > general > apps > notifications > apps > app_name
Do the apps let you pick the sounds for them to use?
Or do you need to use a third-party app to replace the app's use of the default sound?

I'm on Android 10. When I go into Apps and pick the app I want, go into Appnotifications, I can't change it there. There's no option for advanced options eather. Same under Sounds and Vibrations. I can only change global sound and not for certain apps.

Long press the app then tap info , scroll to notification and tap each category to go into sub menu change sound
