Custom Notification Sounds Play For Half A Second

Ive used a custom notification sound for my tablet, but whenever it plays, i noticed that it didnt play the whole sound. I could go to my file manager and play it myself and it would play the whole sound. I also noticed that with pre-installed notification sounds (beat box android, on the hunt) didnt have this problem. I installed the sound through zedge, force stopped it and cleared its data, still didnt solve the problem. The app of where i got the sound is located in the internal storage. Not sure what im missing here.

No, the notification sound is in my SD card. I tryed to move it into the system notifications, to see if that worked, but i couldnt because it was a read only file system.

Move it to the /Notifications directory on the main user directory (not the system directory). The full path name is /storage/sdcard0/Notifications (or /storage/emulated/0/Notifications).
