[Custom Recovery] Xionia Clockwork (CWMA v1.2518.6)

Zefie i need help Im stuck. When i put in the command flash_image recovery /sdcard/ Xionia_cwma_12518.6.img

It will then say "Flash_Image:
Permisson Denied

Any help

download the rom and the gapps, place on your sd card, reboot to recovery (make sure your NOT on stock recovery) install zip from sd card, do the rom first, then gaaps - more detailed directions in the rom thread...

just making sure, but if i already have a custom recovery can i just vopy the zip to the sd then flash it?

Yup.

I flashed to CWMT straight from Xionia, and I don't see any reason it shouldn't work for other recovery changes

hey extracted and copied t sdcard...went through commands with no errors and it did not work,so i did it again and nothing...i have a lg ls670 what did i do wrong?

Are you rooted? Did u type su first? Are you using adb or terminal emulator?

You likely miss typed one or more of the scripts. Make sure you have debugging mode enabled, USB mass storage disabled, you have the proper drivers installed, you have achieved root + superuser, and accept any superuser prompts during installing xionia. Unzip both files, place on the root of the SD card (not in any folder) before trying to install. If you ate still sure you are doing everything right you might just try the automated root tool + xionia in the stickies.

so i still use xionia so i can flash to reborn and update my prl once in awhile, probably answered somewhere but how important is it to update your prl and how often do most do it that use cm7 and whatnot? because i really liked cwma... and really really like cwmt. should i just not worry about the prl thing?

Yes, but the optiV section on these forums has a dedicated xionia of its own that is tweaked for its hardware

OK...I'm stuck...
I have an older phone with an RA-OptS-2.2.1 recovery that I'm updating to Xionia. I can get into adb shell and enter the commands. After each command the system comes back with the command and seems to be working. But at reboot recovery nothing happens and if I go to recovery manually I see that Xionia has not been made the recovery.

Any ideas what I am doing wrong?
