[Custom Recovery] Xionia Clockwork (CWMA v1.2518.6)

Should I be giving credit to the you or the wild turkey? :)

Maybe the turkey I needed all the courage I could get that day but I restored power to my street I didn't plan for it but my neighbor lady was on O2 and she didn't have any reserve tanks

And drew I got total faith in your mad skillz:cool:

I am receiving this error

mount -o remount,rw -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock5 /system
mount: mounting /dev/block/mtdblock5 on /system failed: Invalid argument

Can someone tell me what's invalid? :-\

are you booted into android when you are doing this?
do you have root access ? (a # sign in the shell before you begin?)

not entirely sure if busybox is in there or not, someone brought me this phone to fix, they had purchased it and not knowing it had been rooted and rom'd they pressed the dreaded Factory Reset, and when you turn it on iit shows LG logo then black, and the adb says its in recovery mode. when I pulled the /system folder I do see busybox in /xbin is that what you mean?

tried rebooting with these results:

~ # reboot
reboot
reboot returned
~ # exit
exit

c:\Super1clik\ADB>adb reboot

c:\Super1clik\ADB>adb shell
~ #

ok so how do I get there?
Are you booted into android, you should be able to use your phone like normal? Apps, phone ect...! If you are not just reboot phone like normal, once booted into android then start adb shell.
You dont want to be booted into recovery. IF stock recovery showing 4 options, or custom like 6 options. If you are seeing anything like that reboot phone like normal!

Have you read any of my posts? The phone is bricked ... ie LG logo then black... adb reports device is in recovery. tried rebooting into android, results are just above your last post

had to mount /sdcard and /system then followed steps at the beginning of this thread, and voila.... I really hate that Virgin Mobile sound when it boots but this time it was oh so effin' sweet!!
