Custom ROM installation with Odin

[Android Central Question]

I have a Galaxy s4 mini (SPH-L520) that I rooted some time ago, but it still has the old KitKat Android version, which is proving to be semi-useless now. Even the Android YouTube app no longer is supported. I want to upgrade it to Android version 10, 11, or 12. I have Odin on my PC, but I cannot find, for the life of me, a custom ROM. It seems that mediafire.com has them, but the files it downloads, once unzipped, do NOT have the file types that the Odin program requires (tar, md5, etc). So, what do I do here? I've been working on this for 3 hours, and I've exhausted my patience. I know this should take minutes, and not hours. Obviously, I'm doing something wrong or overlooking some small detail. Have you checked XDA forums? That's probably the best place for custom ROMs.
