First of all I'm relatively new around here, so hi and thank you to all who contribute here. I have read through many posts and find them very interesting and helpful.

Okay, here is my dilemma...
My Phone: LG Optimus T (LG-P509) on T-Mobile. I have rooted it and am currently running a custom ROM (a first for me). Here are the current specs:
Model: LG-P500 (Optimus One according to the ROM)
Android Version: 2.3.7
Baseband Version: LGP500AT-00-V20g-OPEN-COM-JUN-14-2011+0
Kernel Version: 2.6.35.10-cyanogenmod rmcc@tenkian))
CPU info: ARMv6-compatible processor rev 5 (v6l)
Mod Version: CyanogenMod-7-02202012-NIGHTLY-OptimusOne
Build number: GWK74

I like the ROM except that it will randomly reboot on an incoming phone call, not every incoming phone call but usually at least once a day. The phone will ring once then LG logo and begin reboot sequence. It reboots fine and all is well, but I don't know who it was that had called unless they leave a message (which I will get, but only if they leave one). Once the phone is up and running again if I check the call log it doesn't show that missed call. I have tried uninstalling all the apps and just run it bare bones but it still happens.

So, here's what I want to do... flash a new ROM and see how that goes. As you can see from the phone specs listed above I have a CM7 nightly, should I just flash the most recent nightly? Or is there another ROM worth looking at? I just want something that is lightweight and fast (for the optimus anyway).

Lastly what is the process for updating or changing the ROM (not coming from stock)? I am a little concerned with the baseband issue. When I flashed the CM7 nightly my network didn't' work, I had to "update the baseband" I read a bunch about it and got it working right the first time after that, but now I don't remember exactly all that was involved.

I'm fairly novice at all of this, but I'm good at following directions so I appreciate your patience and insights.

Thanks for reading / answering!
