Custom Rom Ruined EVERYTHING!

Hey Guys I need help ASAP!!

Okay well I rooted my phone ages ago and everything was fine! untill vodafone finally released an update and then i instantly wanted to upgrade so after giving up on a way to flash the OTA update (because vodafone dons't release them for manual installation) I decided to flash a custom rom with android 6.0 It all flashed okay and thep hone booted up fine but after a realised a few MAJOR problems occursed

1: Anything that uses moving pictures dosn't load so no youtube video's or FB videos (all just say please try again)
2: No games at all, all crashes to desktop
3: No recorded video it just fails
4: can't call anyone it just hangs on the call screen

Tried flashing other custom roms Viper, Android HD, Cyanogen mod all of them have the exact same issue.. i'm beggining to go mad. I'd appreciate ANY help you can provide. thanks guys

Welcome to the forums. Did you do a reset when you flashed the custom ROM?

I've tried restarting and flashing other roms clearning cashes etc :/ its odd having the same issue's using similar apps over different roms :/

Nevermind guys... got help from an unlikely source
Apparently its a bad idea to update your rom without updating your firmware first (didn't know they were separate)
Updated that and now everything is running smoothly
