Custom ROMS for Lg G3

One of the things I love about my Galaxy S3 is the amount of custom ROMs etc that are available for it.

Now I realise that the G3 is a fairly recent phone, but are there likely to be custom ROMs coming out in the next few months? Or are LGs less well supported in that area?

The G3s bootloader seems difficult to unlock. There's no custom ROMs at the moment and unless the bottloader can be unlocked and then some devs start working on it,there won't be any custom ROMs.

Actually, a lot of ppl have rooted their G3. It's not that difficult, but yes, not many ROMs out there.

I suggest installing the Xposed framework and customizing w/some modules.

Rooting is different from bootloader unlocking.To get custom ROMs and kernels you need to root and unlock the bootloader.

The phone just came out. Give it a month or so and there will probably be s good amount of ROMs

T-Mobile g3 comes with a unlocked boot loader and root came 2 days after release of phone now just waiting on a Rom

Lol, I've been rooting my devices for a few years and didn't know a device could be rooted without unlocking the bootloader.

LG fall behind with other companies when it comes to bootloader unlocking. With Sony and HTC you.can go to their website, put in some details and unlock your bootloader. LG needs to improve in this side. Yeah,TMobile comes unlocked but there doesn't seem to be any devs working on it. It may get a full bootloader unlock at some point but there's no news of one yet or even soon :-(

Tmobile never locks bootloaders. However I'm hoping we get an unlock soon I'd love to get some custom Rom on my att version. Root access is cool for now tho
