Custom Roms

So I have a LG-P509-v10s (the opitmus t) with android v2.2.2 its rooted and I have thunderg v1.2 recovery, can I only flash roms based of 2.2.2. Any rom suggestions

You can flash anything you want I'd suggest using CWM or AmonRa recoveries. Good roms include NuDroid (Froyo) and MIK CM7

MEGATRON is pretty awesome. It lists your phone as P500 instead of P509, but it WORKS!!!
ONLY drawback that I noticed with it was the inability to move certain apps; whereas CM7, you can move almost every app to sd.

I have nRom on two Optimus T's, and they both say they are P500 rather than P509, but they both work perfectly fine, except that when I place a T-Mobile SIM card in them, they will absolutely not connect to the mobile network at all, they just show no bars with an X there the bars should be and say no service...can anyone help me? old bb fix will fix the no network on most roms. most custom roms are new baseband only.
