I've been looking for a way to remove the time from the notification bar with no luck. While I an aware there are ways to do this taking the route of rooting that is not what I would like to do. If anyone has any suggestions or know that it is not possible without routing I would appreciate it, thanks.

To do this would require routing... There is no alternative, sorry.

Thanks, I didn't think I was going to gee any responses at all.

On a different note if you haven't picked up Mugen extended battery with cover, its only $20 on Amazon at the moment. If only to get the Mugen back that its nearly impossible to find on it's own this is worth it.

Speaking of batteries, how does everyone's Vivid do on battery life if you're in an LTE area (we have it here in SF). Just curious and haven't decided if I want to get the Vivid yet, but I have to admit, it's very tempting since Amazon has it for $.01 with free shipping and no sales tax!

When I was in Puerto Rico I had LTE with full service and whether I was downloading a app or loading a web page it was almost instant. It seemed to drain the battery the same being as the time I normally had to wait starring at the screen was level with the battery drain of almost instantaneous data.

Does it make the phone that much thicker? I have a Speck Candyshell case and am thinking that it won't fit with the extended battery, right?

It won't fit with the case but the thickness of the phone with the extended battery is comparable to the size of the phone with the speck candy shell case as that is what I used before I got the extended battery. Personally I think the phone feels better in my hand than before as the battery cover curves sightly too go with the phone. I get a average use of about 2 days with heavy use and it gets better as you use it. When I first started using the battery I was getting a day and a half out of it.
