CWM stuck on Droid Charge

I was running Altereed Beast V 3 and saw there was a upgrade for GingerBread. so i downloaded it and tried to go into recovery and install it . It said it loaded a patch and now I only get Samsung recovery window which does not load anything but itself. I can reboot but it always goes back to CMW and says it needs nothing. I used Odin 3 times and it said everything was OK but when I pull the battery it goes back to this dumb loop

Did you ever get this working? The same thing is happening to me. I had EE4 rooted and flashed CWM from rom manager, then tried installing gummy charged from rom manager. It froze on "formatting /datadata" since then it has had the same error message you posted. Tried flashing with every file I have with odin but nothing fixes it.

If anyone else is having this issue, I went here to download the full stock image and flashed with odin. Worked perfect after that.

but my question is , where did the OP get a gingerbread update for the Charge? i hope he didnt try to flash the fascinate version :-[

there is no gingerbread version for the fascinate...
