I accidentally loaded the voodoo I9000 kernel. The phone was stuck on boot. So I loaded SC2.9.2 via Odin and it boots up fine. To restore my data, I wanted to go into CWR and reload my backup.

The problem I'm having is that I keep getting BLUE CWR. I've flashed several times RED and it still comes up BLUE. I replaced the update.file and no luck. Also getting an error that reads: e: can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p2 No such file in directory.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!!

I have not messed with the I9000 kernel for the reasons that you have experienced. It is only partially functional.

There ill be need to wipe the phone prior to flashing 2.9.2... I do not believe that version of 2.9.2 wipes your phone for you.. You may have to go back to an Odin version that will clean your phone.

Jaekar,

Thanks for th3e info. I reloaded D01 and then flashed with red CWR. I was able to restore my backup.

Thanks for your help!!

to solve the blue cwm problem, delete the old update.zip from your sd. then flash red cwm with odin. do not put a new update.zip on your sd card.
