Hi,
I have a rooted galaxy S2 with android version 2.3.3 with gingerbread. I tried to install cyanogenmod using ROM manager but every time I go to reboot in recovery mode I get the error message
"Failed to verify whole file signature. Signature verification failed."
Does anyone know what I am doing wrong and what I should do?

Thanks in advance.

Turn Verification off in recovery mode under install from sdcard
Sorry, I'm a little new to this.
So do I need to be in recovery mode to turn verification off?
If so I can't even reboot in recovery mode because that message comes up. Essentially I just end up rebooting normally.
If not can you be a little more specific as to where I should go to find these options.

Thanks

I think to get to recovery mode you have to boot up holding the down volume button then pies and hold the power button until you get the recovery message.

Ok so in that screen when I go to "apply from sd card" I can't go anywhere that would allow me to change any setting like that.

install zip from sdcard-> toggle signature verification

then from there; choose zip from sdcard-> Find the zip

that should do it
