I'm a new cm user too.... I had market fc issues too.... I fixed it by clearing the cache and dalvik in Ar recovery and reflashing gapps... I even flashed the updated market and it has been working flawlessly for a couple days now.

I have used CM in the past, but for the life of me can't do anything to get mms to work correctly. This is the greatest ROM but mms problems just drive me to drink.

Text & Bluetooth Issue With CM 6.1.1 stable

hey guys, im having two issues

1st: this is the worst problem when i have my Bluetooth (Jawbone Icon) connected and i receive a phone call the Phone Applicant force closes and im forced to reboot to get the Phone Applicant running again,but when i do restart it my Bluetooth doesn't turn on and i am forced to go to my nandroid -.-

2nd: when i send a text message that greater then 148 characters the text doesn't go through and id have to send 2 different texts instead of just one long one.

What kinds of problems have you been having with mms?

It won't download the mms?? Then when it does it won't play any with sound, won't play any that are animated, and any slide shows go like 300mph and close. Today I am going to flash cm again and try hand cent.

I don't have a bluetooth to test with on the first problem, do you have any customizations install for the dialer?

As far as your 2nd point, I've read that people like to use Handcent or ChompSMS from the market for long message sending on CM6.

Absolutely, in fact I was just talking to my g/f about this and she was totally ignoring me, but I thought it was awesome.

I haven't even installed SetCPU yet and I left it all unplugged last night and still rocking around 70% now at almost 11am.

You have to find and install the Sprint Visual Voicemail APK, I believe a link is floating around here and at the thread at xda (here it is: Sprint VVM for CM6 Working HERO and EVO - xda-developers) Or you can get an app from market called YouMail

OR you can just install google voice (if its not already on your phone!)

i don't get why so many people are so armament about installing the apk for sprint visual voicemail when google voice is SUPERIOR. you even get a secondary number for free.

just my honest opinion.

Hey Jesse, I answered you in the other thread you had on rom flashing - lets try to keep it all on topic so if anyone else has questions about rom switching they can also see it there.

Wifi work. Could be a bad flash.

Were you seeing the network or not getting an IP - what was not working about it?

It would say obtaining IP address, and then it would say disconnected.

Might try flashing again, should I download via ROM Manager and then flash? I downloaded straight from the Cyan site and transferred it to my SD.

There really isn't a difference between rom manager or getting it right from cm's site - just make sure to wipe everything out first.
