CyanogenMod 6.1.1

It would say obtaining IP address, and then it would say disconnected.

Might try flashing again, should I download via ROM Manager and then flash? I downloaded straight from the Cyan site and transferred it to my SD.

What do you think?
Try a full wipe.

Anybody else having this problem? Wifi seems like it times out if my phone is idle for 30 min or so. Kinda frustrating for me because I have to toggle it off then back on everytime.

You can try, go to settings, wirless, wifi settings, menu advanced, wifi sleep policy, never - that's what i did for mine.

I am not familiar with ROM manager or clockwork recovery
I use Amon Ra. Wipe cach, dalvik and data.

Sure, did you do a full wipe before installing the ROM?

It's OK if you didn't, just power off the device. hold down the volume down button and power button at the same time until the bootloader loads, select 'bootloader' then after that loads, select 'recovery' - then in recovery select erase user data, then go to advanced and wipe dalvik, then go back and go to partitions menu and clear out sd-ext, data, system, cache (again for luck, why not), then go back one menu and install zip from sd card, you'll have to browse to the clockworkmod directory and dig deep to find the zip for CM6.1.1

Or-

If you created a backup (nandroid), you can just go to restore in the main recovery menu and restore from that and re do it all again in rom manager but make sure to check "wipe data" when prompted.

ahhhh thanks got it working!!! thanks for your help forgot to do a full wipe ::facepalm::

ahhhhh. (Sigh of relief)

Re-Flashed 6.1.1 and everything is working fully, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc.

Extremely excited to have this ROM back on, now just have to flash 7.6 Kernal.

Does anyone else have the other light in their speaker blinking when they get notifications? Now, that is awesome.

We all do, :) - yeah it totally is awesome. Makes those stock evo owners a little jealous.
