Nightly 9 is great, like the others: ridiculously smooth. I hope the camera is fixed soon. I don't want to deal with having to install a separate fix.

yeah. the incredible has 115 nightlies. I don't think it's ever a "final build". Always improving, always getting better.

Wow its made it that far huh. I forget where I left mine with. I think it was laid to rest with a MIUI build if I'm not mistaken which was lookin pretty for the Dinc. Well then, we shall be CM7 testers for eternity. I'm ok with that.

After nightly you can go stable. I seen a section for stable and I'm guessing when all the issues are worked out it will have a stable release and then new updates nightly to the source.

Here's a new one. I started using the automatic back up set for each day at 11pm. Well tonight it started but booted into CWM recovery 2.5.0.6(Rom Manager was in 2nd-init 4.0.0.5) and failed and created an error(which I forwarded) log. So I went back and flashed recovery back to 2506 and chose to back up since I missed out on the auto. It went into recovery fine and backed up my rom. Am I the only one with all these recovery issues I have to go thru,lol

Yeah, they release Stable Builds when they achieve one. You can continue to use nightlies, or just stay with the stable for a daily driver. But the progress will continue until the devs hang up their hats.

Thanks for the feedback regarding the Task killer. I never had any problems with it, but it's definitely not needed for a rom like CM7. I'm on Nightly #10 and I'm seriously amazed by the speed. I wish they would fix the camera as I wish the whole screen was used. Other than that, loving CM7.

Also, does everyone recommend wiping Dalvik cache before loading a new nightly?

I do simply cuz it's defaultly checked when. nighgly install time hits. I also check google apps.

You have to flash droid x 2nd int recovery in rom manager first.

Anyone gotten any games to work? Such as Angry Birds, PvZ, Cut the Rope, etc?
Seems any game that needs graphics FCs like the live wallpapers do.
I know it is early beta, not the end of the world 'yet' want to make sure it isn't just me before starting over.

I did some more testing and found that I cannot restore my saved apps and data using MyBackupPro especially amazon appstore apps.
To get them to work I uninstalled them, reinstalled, then restored only the data from MyBackupPro.
Live Wallpapers still don't work though so my linking them to this problem above likely doesn't apply.

Cut the Rope, Chuzzle, and Plants vs. Zombies were working for me on nightly 10. I haven't tried them yet on 11.

Come to think of it, I don't know of a build on which games weren't working for me.

I am also having problems restoring backups; with titanium backup.
if i pick app or app + data restore, the screen just hangs at "installing the app"
BUT - it really does restore the app. it doesn't however restore the data part.
if I close out of TB and go back in and restore just the data part only, it works fine.

I started with nightly 9 and am now on 11
same thing on all of them.

anyone else have issues with TB and cm7?
is this a known issue? is it fixed anywhere?

I have restored apps without issues using astro but I haven't wiped data in the last few nightlies so i don't know about that on astro on those builds.
