Cyanogen's Nightly Builds

And to Eric... yes you have to partition your card. So back it all up then get snap 7.0 or. 1 go into RA recovery partition the card.. 0 swap and then anything or 512. Let it do its thing then flash snap.... its pulling its extra memory from your partition I believe that's why I went with a gig....

Just like make a 2GB partition? Then flash it like normal? My highest quadrant so far is 1750. Thats doing it back to back. My linpack scores went down.

Wait so V7 is using Swap Memory like in Ubuntu?!? thats F'in awesome...

Eric play with it. He says use like 680 but I liked the idea of a bit more.. try two gigs and let us know. Idk if that would make any more of a difference...

No there's definitely a performance boost because when I'm underclocked to 499 it still runs like I'm overclocking. And my battery life is doing great... I've been running at 1152 all day and I took it off the charger at eight and I'm just now at approximately 40% battery and that's with heavvvvvy use..

Damn it I need to Restore and Partition

But what true value does that give you other than benchmarks?

I'm running a netarchy 1.152 kern, and i have it OC'd most of the time, but i have found recently that when i set it to something like 500 or 600, my phone and apps run just as well. Or that my untrained eye cant notice the difference.

Though the UnderVolt snap kernals will save battery in a 1 for 1 comparison (both at the same frequency) with a non UnderVolt kernel, thats a given.

Liquid what do you mean true values? Benchmarks are all true values that are data proof of a CPU gain.. what's important to me is smoothness and battery life. Both of which are doing wonderful right now...I'm at 384 on my clock and the ui is still snappy and responsive...

What i mean by true is end user experiencing. For me, scrolling and running apps feels just as fast @ 800mhz as at 1152... and i could go down as low a 500-600mhz before i start to notice slight variations? Do your videos run smoother? Games react snappier, we pages process quicker? More along those lines?

I would love to run these uv and snap kernels, too bad sense is proprietary...

Sense is cool but the only thing I miss are the clock and weather widget. Secondly yes I use dolphin HD and it loads alot faster... I don't game to much so I have no games to test on that point. But I like how I can be underclocked by alot and everything still react very fluidly and smooth...

I just flashed the Snap v7 and so far.. i'm even able to bump the OC up to 1.22 and its running just fine. On some of the other kernels it was buggy and force closing things.. pretty sweet!

Your fine dude. He means having to toggle USB and paste your nand backup and then flashing it. You wont need to worry.

Cool. I'm excited to see what kind of quad scores i get with a 16gb class 2 scandisk. I was hoping to get a little higher than you got with your class two but i'll be happy with that.

Ok so my phone is now at 8 percent and I'm gonna call it dead even tho it's not. I've had it off the charger since 8 thismorning and ive been on it heavily all day being that I'm at work lol. So with really heavy use it lasted just about 8 and a half hours...

However odd little thing just happened. My android messaging app just stopped working. Doesn't open. Doesn't do anything... really weird.

is anyone running snapv7 on 8-16? i just got it all flashed and running and its running so slow i can barely use my phone. it takes for ever to open any app and its frustrating. maybe i'll try flashing rc2 and snap 7 or maybe i'll try snap 7.1 first and see if that helps
