The simple backs are easy enough. You do need a hair dryer. The wrap around skins are more complicated. I have a wrap around on my Pixel 2XL

LOVE it! Come to think of it, I did order a dbrand skin for my Pixel 2 a long time ago... I just haven't installed it yet!!

Looks awesome. I was thinking of like leather for a few minutes myself. I went with the white marble. Honestly, the red carbon fiber overpowers the white marble a little bit You can still see a little bit of white marble on the top and the bottom but in the future I might buy another skin just to redo it but right now it looks pretty cool I love the license have a white 3XL and the red glass part, plus the green g logo looks pretty awesome!

there's a standard back and then the position cut back. I trust your precision cut back does it covers up the sides and accomplishes the entire phone obviously. My father has a much said her hand and I will ever have and more patience. It took him quite a few minutes to do. yeah, the trick is to have a hair dryer to heat up the material plastic loop to make more flexible and easier to work with.

You definitely do need steady hands for this! I could probably apply mine - as long as I didn't have too much coffee that day.

Haha yeah. I was thinking of applying myself. A blow dryer really works out great for heating up sticker and the glue and making more flexible to work with. My father just has more precise hands. I'm too jumpy and impatient.

yeah I had a case of peel on my phone before but not much protection out of the case and I want to be more stylish and colorful.

Hmm, I guess I didn't think of it until you mentioned it; but it does sound like it would be a necessary thing to do while installing a skin.

Softened up the sides so the flaps stuck down over edges

Yep yep. Like I said my father's more patient and he's got to study your hand than I do. If I were to do it there's a good chance I would have been pissed cuz I would have messed it up somehow.

Your phone looks sharp, I admire anybody who has the patience to put a full skin on... maybe your dad should start charging for his work and make a little money on the side ;-)
