D2G and Corp Sync w/ Outlook Photo Contacts

Can someone tell me why motorola phones do not allow the outlook contact photo to sync? I do not want to sync facebook contacts and have whatever stupid picture my friend decides to use for that week as his profile pic. Does anyone know if this will be addressed by Moto?

I'm with you. I was dismayed that the sync from Outlook/Exchange doesn't bring over photos. Even my previous Palm Pre Plus handled that fine. I then went through and added the photos all in the phone directly which worked well until something glitched and all my Outlook content got erased from the phone. It was restored, but of course didn't bring over the photos yet again. So I went ahead and synced my Outlook contacts with my GMail account. The sync to GMail does bring down the photos and the phone simply merges the contacts together. It took a little bit of experimenting to get the contacts syncing the way I wanted, but eventually I got there. I used GO Contact Sync (http://www.webgear.co.nz/Products/GOContactSync.aspx)-- something I found on one of these forums.
