i have a friend that does a lot of designing work...i have so ideas in my head...i just still dunno much about making ROM's so i just have my head going crazy lol...

got the PM...d/ling now

It's not possible to flash a new nightly and retain the STAR update right? We have to re-apply STAR after each nightly correct?

ummm try it and let me know... I think the Star Sticks as long as you dont wipe...

BTW 5T4R v2 is up
 
What's new in V2? I looked back at the first page.. didn't see anything that looked like a change log.. or am i just missing it? :)

No Change Log...

Im working on it... this is based on Snap v5.1. and CPU Ultra v2...

Its a splice... Im working on a legit Rom so we dont need to juggle Files...
 
Did you by chance have time to look into a reason why it wouldn't flash correctly for me? I haven't tried since then (been running AC ROM) but would like to give it a try again.

Are you trying to do the install from sd card and then pointing to the d3x-5T4R-V2.zip ? Or are you taking the zip, renaming it update.zip putting it in the root of the sd card and selecting the install update.zip from your recovery?

I've found that renaming the zip to update.zip and putting it in the root directory and running the update.zip install works more often than choosing the zip file from sd card where its normally in a downloads folder or something.. try giving that a shot. after you've done a back up ofcourse :)

Im Personally too lazy for this method but it seems to work too... :cool:
