Dark Mode for Gmail & Play Store

I've had dark mode on Google Assistant for a couple days now I believe, I haven't checked my Gmail app in a couple days though. I'm on AT&T which is currently having a major Nationwide outage with no access to voicemail and intermittent call problems. I called up today to get some answers, they had no time frame of when the issues would be fixed, which is odd since the problems continue to spread geographically three weeks out, but I did get a $50 bill credit to keep from jumping ship to another provider, which we'll probably do anyway since we've been off contract for the last 17 years or so lol.

I have to admit the pixel updates have came to my phone like clockwork with AT&T, and they give us a great rate for what we get compared to other providers. The same service on Verizon would cost us about $50 more a month...... it's a big savings for sure, but not worth much if your phones don't work :-[

I will admit that my 3XL on Verizon, it's not a Verizon thing it's just a Google thing supplies a service as a carrier. dari mode on my Gmail application took forever. Same thing with Google Assistant/Google application.

You can enable dark mode in the Android Central Forums app and in the site from a browser.

That's great Javier. I'm viewing these forums in chrome on my 3XL. I tap the 3 horizontal lines at the top left and see two buttons towards the bottom for light and dark. Problem is when I tap them, they are just dead. I've tried long pressing, quick taps, nothing works.

I tried in Chrome and it's working for me. Open 'Menu' and tap that small icon to switch between themes.

Same here! It just all of a sudden appeared, I didn't even have to adjust any settings!

Rofl . I just noticed Google Assistant has Dark mode now. I haven't checked in a while and forgot about it . Held the home button for a second by accident and what do ya know ,Dark Mode.
