Is anyone using dashclock widget? Does it replace the MotoX lockscreen or does it work together with the Moto X notifications?

I briefly downloaded it, but Active Display does the same job so much more elegantly.

But, to answer your question, you can use both at the same time. Dashclock is just a widget you place on the lockscreen (you can replace the default digital clock). It acts completely independently of Active Display.

Thanks, I am going to give it a try. I can always uninstall if I don't like it.

I actually realized, after replying to this thread, that Dashclock makes a pretty good home screen widget. I'm using it on my main screen.

It will only drain your battery if you have a weather extension (for example) that is set to update all the time, same as any weather widget. I use dash clock with moon phase and sunrise sunset and battery extensions etc and it doesn't affect my battery
