Data Issue

Northern NJ I keep completely losing data coverage. I'll reboot the phone and have it for a few minutes then it drops. Been running the same ROM for over a month now with 0 issues in the Denver area. Come back east for christmas and I almost never have data anymore.

Rediculous.

I had some data issues yesterday for a few minutes on the outskirts of Seattle. I didn't have 4G/3G/1X for a several minutes. I think it's because I don't have 4G where I am.

There are some posts that suggest changing my mobile network setting to CDMA only. I am going to give that a try, then switch back to LTE/CDMA when I am in Seattle.

Looks like another big outage to close out 2011. LTE out in NYC and looks like problems with eHRPD as well. Just checked and my Nexus is running on EVDO Rev A.

Had monster 4g signal about 9am in Santa Cruz, CA and by the time I got home to Scotts Valley just a few miles up the road, it was gone. Still out...getting 3g so I will consider myself lucky. I still don't think this is anything to get in a snit over. All things considered, I could be on Metro PCS...:-\

In Seattle... no 4G today. Worse yet; data keeps going in & out..from no connection, to 1x to 3g then nothing again. I just bought a lightly used Tbolt because I need 4G, had no idea this "data issue" is ongoing with VZW 4G. Good thing I didn't sign that 2 year contract. I never had any data issues like this with my Droid Incredible, always solid 3G in the network area. With this Tbolt I can't even keep a stable 3G connection, even on CDMA only. How disapointing.

Talked to a Verizon store employee at the mall today. He confirmed there was a data outage nationwide, but wasn't able to tell me why only some phones were affected. My girlfriend's LG Revolution was working just fine with 4G, while my phone had no data.

The rep's work phone, a Nexus, had no data, but his personal phone, a Droid X2, was working fine.

Thank goodness I have wi-fi at home!

I called late last night just because this is getting rediculous and stressed my point that I wanted money off my bill as it has been sometime I am paying for a service I am not getting. I was told I will get compensated but not untill the situation has been fixed this way they can cerdit my bill accordingly. I would urge all other's affected by this to also call in this regarg
