Data Issues- My Internet is not working on Chrome but whatsapp is working

[AC Question]

My phone is Moto G Gen 1 . Since the last few days I am facing issues with regards to data. The data usage is on. On the main screen the data shows connected to 3G but there is an exclamation sign along with it.(Pic attached). Whatsapp and a few apps are working but chrome is not. (It says DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_BADCONFIG)
