Data measured differently between phone and tmobile

My phone says I'm close to 2.5 gb but tmobile says I've used 1.3 gb. Which one is more accurate?

Always go by what the carrier says. They're the ones that are going to charge you based on their numbers. Regardless of what your phone says. Besides they know the exact minute one months billing cycle ended. Your phone does not.

Alright thanks. I'm already at my high speed data limit according to the phone and I still have another week left until the next cycle.
