Data plan/activation question

I call it how it see it. I don't know about you but I like being able to come and frequent an enthusiast forum where I know I am being helpful and contributing. Maybe you should try it.

It is helpful to point on when people are getting only half information or incorrect information. Anyone can come to a forum like this and tell half truths or misinformation.

I like to point out both the good and the bad and the truth with the lies.

Does anybody know how much is the down payment? I went to a BB here in Boston and the guy at mobile section told me it's $300.. If it's true, Verizon and go and f**k themselves. lol
The problem for me is not a bad credit, but no credit history at all.

Engadget is reporting that they got word directly from Verizon that they have rescinded the policy for required 1-month activation when you are buying off contract. YAY!

In your case if they want to charge you $300 to get a $200 subsidy then just buy the device off contract. According to some users here there is no way they require a deposit for month to month access.
